I'm a soccer mom.

Tis the season here in Arizona... Emma and Fisher are both playing soccer right now. Here are some shots of the superstars.

Fisher was goalie. The ball was coming. Defense was strong. He planted those feet, got his hands in front of him. The ball was shot. It went RIGHT BETWEEN HIS LEGS. If you look closely, you can see the ball under his bum.

Here's a nutritious breakfast! Tess got ahold of the syrup after a pancake feed, poured half the bottle straight onto the plate and went after it (with a fork, not too successful).

I'm not sure what it is about Case, but his faces crack me up!

Time Out!

The twins found a bag of markers one day while I was otherwise occupied (I’m sure I was doing something VERY important). They wrote all over the floor, all over the area rug (which is fine with me because I want any excuse to get rid of it and get a new one!), and as you can see, all over themselves.

Tess was just plain sad to be in time out.

Case was sad at first.

Then he was MAD!

What a nightmare!

So here's my problem with this blog thing. When I get time to sit down and write something, I usually have so many things I want to write that it turns into a tome. But today I'll spare you.

A couple of days ago Fisher (it's always about Fisher, isn't it?) woke up and came into the kitchen rubbing his eyes. "Mom," he groaned, "I had the WORST SCARIEST dream! It was about a monster with one eye and a tail and a big huge belly button and a big belly and a big nose like yours ..." Huh? Did he really just say that? I lost the rest of the description of the monster b/c IT HAD A BIG NOSE LIKE MINE.

And some fun pictures:
Both of these photos were totally uncoached. Honest!
