School started in Arizona this week... Emma began first grade yesterday at a brand-new school (go Chaparral Sharks!) with a brand-new teacher. She rides her bike to school (it's about 1/4 mile away) and thinks she's good to go all by herself! Her mom's not quite ready to let her be that independent. Give me a week of riding with babies in tow and Fisher on his bike and waiting for 15 minutes in 105 degree weather. I'm sure I'll come around soon!
Fisher began preschool today at Cortina (go Tigers!). What a little champ. All around us little guys were crying and clinging to their mommies, and Fisher just said "Bye Mom. See you when you pick me up." I guess we're raising very independent kids!We went camping last weekend and got dumped on... Teslin and Case, of course, thought it was the most fun since they got to tramp through mudpuddles and get completely muddy (not to mention all the cookies and chips they were allowed to eat!). Thankfully (and miraculously!) we stayed dry at night, but had fun getting wet during the day riding motorcycles and quads and playing in the puddles.
