The Burger Tree

With all the fruit we've had in the house lately (peaches, pears and raspberries, oh my!) the twins and I have had some discussions about where fruit comes from. They know it grows on trees, and that if we plant seeds, trees will grow.

Today I took them to Burger King for lunch and to the park to play for a while. Here's the stimulating conversation that ensued:

Case: Where do burgers come from?

Me: From a cow.

Tess: No, silly. They grow on trees. See? These are their seeds! (picking off the sesame seeds from the top of her bun)
