Cleaning Strike
I didn't actually strike this weekend. I was just lazy and it looked like I had. But if I HAD gone on strike, it would have backfired. So now I won't.

Funniest video
I just found this file that was emailed around a couple of years ago while browsing around on my backup drive. I have watched this thing probably 50 times and it still makes me laugh out loud. I hope posting it works.
Enjoy RATMONSTER!

My 200th Post! And UT Pics
I just logged on to post more pics of our second trip to UT this summer. We spent a total of about five weeks up north, and missed most of the blistering AZ heat (yah!!). Sure makes it bearable to live in Arizona when we are able to get away to our "summer home" (aka my parents' basement in Orem)!
Apparently when you upload pictures, it loads them in reverse order, so you're seeing our trip, only backwards :). Kind of like when we used to watch home movies in reverse, right? My sis Kristin and I always got a kick out of watching ourselves run down the hall and do cartwheels, then set the projector in reverse and watch it all backwards. I still laugh at that!
The kids with G&G Stastny outside the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We decided at the last minute to go to the Open House, so the kids got to walk through it before it's dedicated. So beautiful! I think they really liked it. I did anyway, and that's what matters :).

Mt. Whitney
Joe making his way across the snow trail. I'm pretty glad I didn't know about this part of the trail before they went.
The Curtis Boys summit.
Jarad soaking his feet in glacial waters. He said he couldn't keep them in there for more than a few seconds before he'd start to lose feeling, the water was so cold!

Warning: Pollutants Ahead
I know it's been like six weeks since I posted anything. I keep meaning to sit and write a summary of the rest of our summer, post all the fun pics, etc. But this seems a rather daunting task, and so I back-burner it. And now the kids are back to school and the moment has passed. Or has it? I'll work on it bit by bit and eventually get the story told so I can get the past year printed up into our second volume of The Curti.
